Falling in Love with a Picture
Illusion morphs in a dream,
The vision overtaking my eyes,
A silver forming stream,
Softly air unaware releasing sighs,
Her vision soaking me in,
Silver streams drift forward to each,
Both now looking within,
Clarity mocks beyond reach,
Our vision is a pools image,
Reversing sight through other,
Dimensions of silver light engage,
Joining together as one another,
Complete, clarity, true, true love,
Words, beyond words, a molecular rhythm,
A divine intervention I reach above,
Wait, no, reality falls, killer, vicious crime,
My vision was but a fools illusion,
What mad trickery captured my soul,
She is not her, but sudden confusion,
One fell, another arose, where but a satanic hole,
Weeping tears flood her eyes,
She, Only because my love surpassed my hold,,
I see love in-spite, even myself, while covered in lies,
But my divine Love, heart cry’s, what is being told,
Clearly my beloved, I am the truth not illusion,
I see truth, yet my passion was for another,
Not so, the picture as Love, was your desperate conclusion,
She cried our love remains divine, one for other.

My Notes: You May find it difficult to understand the situation in this poem, so did I, but not in the reading. I’m a hack Poet at best, which is why I didn’t submit it in the contest about rising above reality. When I finish the short story on the events this poem is based it will be come apparent, and like me you will say; “WHAT?” .
